The Oxfordshire Craft Guild draws together designers and makers throughout Oxfordshire, and from adjoining parts of neighbouring counties, and includes a wide range of traditional and contemporary crafts. Membership of the Guild is by selection so you can be sure that what you see or buy comes from a maker with the finest design ability and highest quality workmanship.

The Guild's aims include the promotion of fine craftwork of good design, the organization of exhibitions for the celebration, promotion and sale of craftwork, and the provision of opportunities for craftspeople to meet together for the mutual exchange of ideas. Most of the makers in the Oxfordshire Craft Guild sell their work at exhibitions, in art galleries and from their own studios. Many of them also take commissions.

Membership of the Guild entitles makers to have their work displayed in various permanent outlets or in short term exhibitions. Members also receive the Newsletter, discounts at various outlets and other benefits.

Applications from prospective new members are always welcome, both in crafts currently represented and in others.  The Application form is available on this site.  Those wishing to become Friends - whether they be craftspeople or those who just appreciates quality craftsmanship and want to see it flourish - can use the same application form.
