The Oxfordshire Craft Guild draws together designers and makers throughout Oxfordshire, and from adjoining parts of neighbouring counties.  Membership of the Guild is a sign of the finest design ability and highest quality workmanship.

A wide range of traditional and contemporary crafts is represented by the Guild, whose aims include the promotion of fine craftwork of good design, the organization of exhibitions for the celebration, promotion and sale of craftwork and the provision of opportunities for craftspeople to meet together for the mutual exchange of ideas. Most of the makers in the Oxfordshire Craft Guild sell their work at exhibitions, in art galleries and from their own studios, many of them also take commissions.

Membership of the Guild entitles makers to have their work displayed in various permanent outlets or in short term exhibitions. Members also receive the Newsletter, discounts at various outlets and other benefits.

Applications from prospective new members are always welcome, both in crafts currently represented and in others.  The Application form is available on this site.  The Guild also welcomes Friends, who may be also craftspeople or who just appreciate quality craftsmanship and want to see it flourish; see the above application form.
